About Me

The Portable Film Festival is an international festival of short film and user created content. The difference with this festival is that it exists solely online and can be downloaded to portable devices such as ipod, mobile phone and psp.

Portable film festival is a film festival in your hands, both literally and metaphorically. It is literally in your hands when you can carry around hundreds of films on portable devices to enjoy at your leisure. It is metaphorically in your hands when you create the content for the festival. We are a user-generated festival and represent the democratization of film making and film watching processes. Today anyone can become a filmmaker or a film critic regardless of their background. A fancy phone and a broadband connection is all you need to showcase your talent to the world!
