Starving Musician

I am a starving musician. I record and produce at home using cobbled together items and homemade junk.
In September 2007 I released an online album called Dog Kill Bird which was well received by internet communities around the world.
In summer 2008 I released the follow up 'The Freemealin' Demis CousCous' which was quite a departure from the previous album's "Death Country" vibe (genre attributed by listeners). The Freemealin' Demis CousCous draws on more European influences such as Serge Gainsbourg and France Gall.
2009 will see the release of the third Demis CousCous album, work on which has begun already and will once again be a departure from the preceeding album, this time utilising a string section on loan from a local orchestra.
Alongside the solo work, I also play guitar, harmonica and sing with a collective known as The Mackerelheads and have a history of playing demented freeform spacerock with Grassmonkey.
I have also been involved in the creation of several cinematic projects and experiments including The Monkey Western, a soundtrack to an imaginary western movie which spawned the surprise Czech college radio hit "Trouble Comes My Way".
